Karnival? What Karnival?

Well this Karnival was a complete flop.

My apologies to those who submitted posts.

Oh wait, hang on... NO ONE submitted a post! (not even me, although I did write it).

So, this is clearly not working, but never mind, I have another idea...

The Karnival will NOT have a theme, but you just submit any post that you want to, so we end up with a list of "good posts". Can be old, can be new, maybe borrowed, even blue. Leave a link as a comment on this post or email it to me using: maltagirl :: at :: gmail :: dot :: com.

In two weeks' time (July 18th) I will put up a list of all posts received. If no-one sends anything, then the Karnival will die a natural death :-)

In the meantime... blog on!

Maltagirl, why not space out the carnivals more? If you have it once a month or once every two months, there is more likelihood that people will participate. I think the carnivals are too close together.

Summer break, please

One carnival a year is a lot of fun.

Two carnivals a year remind those who are my age or older of Mintoff's days when we actually had two carnivals in Malta.

Anyway, what I really wanted to say is that I've noticed that fewer people are blogging regularly now that summer is with us. There are exceptions, of course.

So Maltagirl, how about this as an idea for something else to do until the next carnival: make a list of the most frequent bloggers. Who blogs regularly? And how regularly?

Now that summer is with us I would expect people who moan about too much work or study during the rest of the year to have all the time in the world to blog. Perhaps their lives are so boring and their brains so full of sand that they have nothing interesting to blog about. I honestly don't know.

This comment is turning into one of my rants so I think I'll take it to my blog and spare you the use of your server space for my ramblings.

I wish I had more time on my hands to blog right now - there are a number of topics I'd like to blog about, but no time to do so. I want my summer back =(
