Playin' the blues
Little Sis has had the camera this week, so I figured that since I can't post visuals, I'll post some audio instead :-)
Back in February Michael gave me a how-to book on simple blues for piano, and in March after we watched Ray, I recorded myself playing the piece that is used as an example in the book, with a few of my own variations thrown in.
My piece has evolved since then, (it's alive I tell you! Muahahahaha!) and here's its latest incarnation. Sound quality sucks because my little voice recorder can't really handle music, especially the high part, but hey, the beat is still cool ;-)

True... although there's a problem... we all play guitar and cant really make up a band :) I would play bass though, and I'm sure Maltagirl can play keyboards. All we need is a drummer who is a blogger. Do you know anyone? :)

Yes, that sounds like a plan, I find piano more fun than guitar anyway :-)
I don't know of a drumming blogger (or a blogging drummer). Any volunteers?

It's true that drummers are really difficult to find... I played with some great drummers in the past (like one known as 'il-Maze' and Fabrizio Giorgio ok Fakawi/Syndrome/Flying Alligators fame) but they were all kind of 'di passagio' between the trillion bands they played in at the time (and still do I think).
Anyway if I find the perfect drummer I will start a band immediately :)

That's great Pierre... didn't know you play drums! So we're set... if we find a bassist I could switch to guitar, but if not, I'll happily play bass :)

yeah, i've been thinking of starting a blog for a while... not sure if my life is interesting enough tho! the cat on Fahmu's site is gorgeous, however, my two cats are boys not girls! talking about cats, go to this site: www.stuffonmycat.com - it is the funniest thing i have seen for ages!
