A messy WoW
In honour of the upcoming Carnival, I dug out the facepaint at church. Any excuse to get messy, heheheheh (getting to be messy is one of the main reasons I like working with kids, and anyway, we need a new outlet now that glitter has been banned as a result of our last glitterfest).
There were only two kiddies there last night, and they really enjoyed daubing yellow, red, purple, orange, blue and silver goop all over my face. It even got on my ear. And in my hair. And up my nose.
I also caused quite a stir when I mingled with the adults after the service, with half an inch of multicoloured slap on my face. I have carefully noted the names of the people who said "Wow, that's a real improvement on your usual look", heh.
Then I discovered that I really should get some make-up remover and leave it there with the facepaint... but in the meantime, a nurse, lots of water, a few dozen paper towels and a combination of solid and liquid soaps make for a reasonable substitute. They say that exfoliation is really good for the skin, you know.
And the fun never stops because I suspect that next week the kiddies' mothers might very well give me a little lecture on the staining properties of facepaint *grin*
*roots around for the Persil*

What you and your sisters did to me the first week I was there was much worse than facepaint with the people that know you.

Hey, I had absolutely nothing to do with that. You being taken around Malta looking like a drag queen was completely their doing!

It was their doing, BUT you did not even try to stop them, nor tell me that it was still like that until I got home.
